It is raining here on and off today...finally!!! I have been waiting to be stuck in the house so i can finish some ornaments and tidy up and wrap some presents!
i stayed up too late last night and then woke too early. Because it was dark and dismal out there, i think i was blessed that Bubba let me sleep in without speaking to me in his relentless cat voice for breakfast to appear in his bowl! He slept on top of me...pinning me to the bed, so i closed my eyes and slept some more. Cats, for those of you unfamiliar are usually relentless when it comes to feeding time...but they are cozy warm critters leading to a slowing of your breathing and a signal to your brain to relax...step back...slow down and take advantage of the cozy!
They do to my brain what the ocean does to my soul.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I am on Roscoe and Daisy duty as my daughter and family do their version of Christmas with Russ’ family in Fredericksburg. That being said i hope to accomplish finishing my tree ornaments and wrapping some gifts! :)
This is a bunch to hang up, baubles, hearts and stars in glass, I immediately saw several compositions (in the shop already), had great fun in the studio!
Now, as I told you, from when I was a little girl, I have always loved red ribbon.
Often it is easier to pin down why you do not like something.
Again, I was wondering why this photo was so appealing to me. Started to analyse… so, the red ribbon, and then, LOVE… this month people will gather and give.
I have a feeling that December can be an ‘emotional’ month, where we ponder over the past year…
So now I know why I like it. Happiness all around!

Ying Lung Wai (Chinese: 英龍圍) is a walled village in the Yuen Long Kau Hui area of Yuen Long District, Hong Kong.
Ying Lung Wai is a recognized village under the New Territories Small House Policy.
Ying Lung Wai was established by a branch of the Tang Clan of Kam Tin, who had set up the nearby villages of Sai Pin Wai and Nam Pin Wai, but later moved to the area to establish the village due to feng shui reasons.
At the time of the 1911 census, the population of Ying Lung Wai was 94. The number of males was 38.
Ying Lung Wai is part of the Tung Tau alliance (東頭約) or "Joint Meeting Group of Seven Villages", together with Nam Pin Wai, Tung Tau Tsuen, Choi Uk Tsuen, Shan Pui Tsuen, Wong Uk Tsuen and Tai Wai Tsuen. The Yi Shing Temple in Wong Uk Tsuen is an alliance temple of the Tung Tau Alliance.
Aprovechando que iba a desaparecer mi corte de peluquería (ya sabéis que no queda igual una vez te lo lavas xDDD) Gabriel me hizo una sesión de fotos a lo pin up de los años 50-60 con ropa cebril y pintalabios rojo :)
Tenía unas ganas enormes de hacerme fotos en este plan, lástima que no tuviéramos mucho tiempo porque nos íbamos a casa de Fide luego :P
Desde luego, Gabriel sí que sabe nutrir mis múltiples fetichismos con su pedazo cámara (y su enormísimo talento *^^*).
Première version d'un nouveau portrait identitaire, Manue, qui a choisi d'exprimer son amour pour la pâtisserie et sa féminité.
Après avoir exploré plusieurs pistes, nous nous sommes arrêtées sur l'idée d'une pin up un peu rétro, dans un décor de cuisine.
Voici une version "in progress" de son portrait identitaire, en attendant le résultat final!
